1st birthday

What a cute idea this was for her 1st Birthday session in Celebration. Nikki said she loves strawberries, so they wanted to do a strawberry session instead of a cake smash. I loved this idea being it was different, and it was something that was meaningful to not only Nikki but for her daughter as well. This was a last-minute booking, and she wanted something simple, so I had some props already and they brought what they had and the strawberries. I already had the blanket, picnic basket, the ONE sign, and the strawberry flowers.

We tried in the grass but there were too many nats so we moved and the first pink dress and balloons but that wasn't working out with what the birthday girl wanting. So, we moved on to the strawberries and that is when she sat down and enjoyed the session. Everything worked out in the end and learning to adapt and adjust especially with kids is something I have as your photographer. Especially after working at Disney for 6 years as a photographer.
